Deric receives two ASCAP Awards at The Ryman

At the 55th Annual ASCAP (the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers) Country Music Awards at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN on Monday, November 6th, 2017, Deric was honored with awards for two of his songs - “Came Here To Forget” (written by Deric and Craig Wiseman and recorded by Blake Shelton), and “Any Ol’ Barstool” (written by Deric and Josh Thompson and recorded by Jason Aldean).  Each year, ASCAP Country Music Awards are handed out to the songwriters and publishers of the year’s most-played songs at American country radio.  Deric’s awards for “Came Here To Forget” and “Any Ol’ Barstool” mark his 7th and 8th career ASCAP Awards.
